Crimson fungusはHellに由来する秘密の材料で、固有効果は Weaknessである。拾うと赤色染料2個のレシピが解禁されるだけで、そこから作れる食べ物はレシピブックに表示されない。[1]

Crimson Fungusはキノコと同様に調理される。braised crimson fungus（弱体化、0:30）に煮込まれ、茶色のキノコと一緒にpickled crimson fungus（弱体化IIのスプラッシュポーション、1分間）に漬けられ、ステーキ、生地、牛乳と一緒にcrimson stroganoff（弱体化、5:00）に調理される。調理すると進捗「Hidden Flavors」を獲得する。詳細はSecret recipesを参照。
